DTS is a three day-long ideathon at Cornell University running from March 5th to March 7th, 2021.
This event focuses on social justice, and unlike traditional hackathons, we’re calling for participants
from all majors and experience levels! Teams will come up with projects ranging from advocacy, to policy reform,
to apps built to tackle racial injustice. Throughout the event, teams will receive guidance from mentors, as well
as hear from various keynote speakers.
By the end of the ideathon, participants will develop innovative approaches to instigate change in our communities. We would love to have you join us as a chance to foster change, while learning and having the chance to teach and help others. Whatever you can bring to the table, there is a seat for you at DTS!
Our mission is to encourage an inclusive, inter-disciplinary, and intersectional approach to social justice issues.
We have some suggestions on what you can focus on during the ideathon!
